If I want to remember to do something... really and truly remember, I write it on my hand--preferably in BOLD, permanent ink. I can't be the only person in the world who does this. It seems like I have a million things going on in my life at once, so sometimes even important tasks get past me. If I write something on my hand, it's easier to remember. My "note to self" stays in place until I get serious and scrub it off. It works, y'all. I've done this for YEARS.

I remember coming home from school and having notes about assignments and homework on my hands. My mom would be LIVID. I'd end up washing the notes off my hand and promising I'd never do it again... and then be a repeat offender a few days later. Like, I know it's tacky, but it WORKS.

I know I could leave myself a strategically placed Post-It note. I have a friend who swears by leaving objects in weird places as a reminder (she told me she put her contact lenses in the fridge once to remind her to schedule an eye exam. That's next level.). I could even move into the 21st century and use my phone--there are literally thousands of apps available to increase productivity and schedule important reminders for you.

Am I crazy? Probably... but at least I'll remember to buy those headphones tonight. What works best for you? Cast your vote in the poll below and maybe I'll be persuaded to try something besides writing on my hand in semi-permanent ink... MAYBE.
