It’s no secret Cowboys Owner and General Manager Jerry Jones is known for his think Texas big mentality. Simply look at the high tech spectacle built for his football team. The center piece of this stadium is this gigantic HD video screen which stretches from 20 yard line to 20 yard line.

Then, he signs a deal with telecommunications company AT&T. Wow, there must be perks with that, like getting to test drive the latest and greatest phones to hit the market. You would think.

Recently, while watching a Cowboys game, Jerry was seen on national TV using a flip phone. I don’t have anything against it. Rather, it appeared odd to see him using it. Here’s a guy worth billions who has just signed a deal with AT&T for stadium naming rights and he is using a flip phone.
Well, I wasn’t the only one wondering this as a show on Dallas radio station KRLD point blank asked Jerry Jones, what’s up?

I don't know what to say other than, I can guarantee AT&T is on top of that flip phone. It works for me. I don't have any butt-dialing with that thing, I know that.

Okay, good point. I’ve been there and done that. I’d like to hear what you think. Do you have or someone you know have a flip phone that they will not give up?
