Why are bar bouncers so friendly?
I have a weird habit of befriending bouncers at local bars and making them my bff. Minus the usual tall stature and the 250 lb. bench press, they're usually softies. Being a bouncer takes a lot of moral and ethical skills to hone. Talking down a possible dangerous or hostile situation, taking drunk college students to their Uber and making sure a giant ballroom blitz doesn't occur.
Sometimes these "doorguys" get a bad name or reputation, just realize they men and woman are here to honestly take care of you, make sure you're having a solid and safe night.
Say "Thanks" to every doorman, bouncer, usher or whatever you wanna call them.
They good people.
