Watch Firefighters Rescue Dog Buried Alive

Firefighters in Brazil were called to the scene following the discovery of a dog buried alive.  The poor animal's head stuck out of the ground, as the rest of the body remained deeply covered in dirt.

The dog was reported with a broken leg, scratches on the head and eyesight lost in the right eye.  Police continue to investigate, with no current suspects or arrests.

This video outrages me so bad.  Who would do something like this?  If the owners couldn't keep the dog any more, there are far better options than burying the poor animal.  It makes you wonder if some people even have a conscious.  Because, how could you sleep at night?  Those involved better look out for karma!

The 8 year-old German Shepherd will be adopted following recovery.  Watch the rescue video below.
