University of Alabama Student Treated for Tuberculosis
According to Fox 6, a news release from the Alabama Department of Health states that a student at the University of Alabama is being treated for tuberculosis, which is contagious but only transmitted by close contact.
It is possible that the student was infectious as early as January, and others who were in close contact with the student are being notified and are undergoing testing. Full story.
