Anyone who's lost the right to vote knows how significant it is to not only have the proper people in power but also how hard it is to obtain the right once it's lost. That's why organizations like the Tuscaloosa County Voter Restoration Coalition and events such as these are so important.

The University of Alabama's Voter Engagement Initiative is hosting a diversity series, where speakers will discuss their own paths and bring awareness to systems' faults in efforts of making changes to those systems.
