'Fashion for Food' plans to mix spring fashion trends with performances in a fundraiser for Secret Meals for Children on Friday, April 22nd at the Cultural Arts Center on Greensboro Avenue in Tuscaloosa!

Last fall, Barbie Perry and her crew from the Street Talent Agency put on the successful show called Bama Against Bullying!  The high energy fashion show, involved various dance performances and singers, while creating awareness and raising funds for the anti-bullying project HALT with Tuscaloosa City Schools.

This same formula of entertainment is returning for a spring showcase.  This time the cause benefiting is Secret Meals for Children!  You may have heard about this campaign, it was developed by Alabama Credit Union through partnerships with local food banks to address the issue of hunger facing local elementary schoolchildren.

Tuscaloosa's finest boutiques are lining up their best looks for the season to be showcased by the specially selected models. The night will also feature dance teams and other performances. It's followed by an open dance floor with DJ Proto J. Doors open at 5:30, show starts at 6 and the dance party at 8! Again, it's Friday, April 22nd at the Cultural Arts Center on Greensboro Ave.

Tickets will be sold at the door for $12. Organizers also say sponsorship opportunities exist.
