Country music legends Alabama have added Tuscaloosa to their tour plans this fall.

The Tuscaloosa Amphitheater concert will be Friday, October 9th. That makes a show for the Tide's homecoming week.

How fitting to feature the guys of Alabama, Randy Owen, Teddy Gentry, and Jeff Cook during homecoming. Their song 'Dixieland Delight' is such a fixture at games, with it's added hometown lyrics.

Here's a sample of what you're hearing when everyone sings, 'Dixieland Delight':

Spend my dollar (ON BEER),
Parked in a holler ‘neath the mountain moonlight (ROLL TIDE),
Hold her uptight (AGAINST THE WALL),
Make a little lovin’ (ALL NIGHT),
A little turtle dovin’ on a Mason Dixon night (**** AUBURN),
Fits my life (AND LSU), oh so right (AND TENNESSEE, TOO),
My Dixieland Delight.

Alabama is much more than that one song, as their recording and touring career spans decades. Plus, any group from our state and naming their group after it, well that gets bonus points in our book.

All seats are reserved and go on sale Friday morning (8/21) at 10 a.m. Tickets are priced between $25 and $79.
