I'm going to be real here and say it takes A LOT to shock me. I'm talking borderline obscenity. But the graffiti I saw on my way to work this morning--y'all. I can't even.

I have a high threshold for offensive material. I'm not one to get all up in arms over a cuss word. I can read a Chuck Palahniuk novel without getting nauseated. I did not call the FCC after Janet Jackson's infamous "wardrobe malfunction," and I'm the kind of person who thinks the best kind of TV is the kind that comes on after the kids are asleep.

Also I have a toddler, so I'm relatively immune to being grossed out, but-- man, when I saw this graffiti at a gas station, I straight-up GAGGED.

I don't know why, but the word "moist" just bothers me. It's one of those words. My friends give me grief for being so weird about it, but whatever. The word "moist" is soooooooooooooo gross.

(I also hate the words swab, tutelage, and wharf.)

Perhaps it's a combination of my English major and myriad neuroses, but when it comes to this word--I will not abide.
