New ‘Walking Dead’ 2014 Premiere Photos: Michonne and Carl “After” The Fall
Earlier today we caught a fresh look at 'The Walking Dead' season 4's latter half before the big February 9 premiere, but why stop there? A fresh batch of photos has emerged from the 2014 premiere installment "After," and considering how splintered everyone became by the big prison showdown of midseason finale "Too Far Gone," the survivors we pick up with aren't looking too good...
Drawing quite a few inspirations from the Robert Kirkman comic books, the latest from AMC's 2014 'Walking Dead' premiere focuses on both Carl and Michonne, both looking a bit worse for wear. Unless we're dealing with a pre-Andrea flashback, Michonne seems to have fashioned herself another pair of walker escorts, while Rick looks worst of all, lying on the couch behind a cowering Carl. The previous photo and trailer showed Carl mostly on his own, so might Rick be on his last legs?
Written by series creator Kirkman and directed by Greg Nicotero, "After" also has a fresh synopsis from AMC:
As Rick deals with old wounds, members of the prison have to come to terms with their new environment and ask themselves if survival alone is enough.
No word yet on when we’ll catch up with the other survivors, though at least a few new faces will come to join the survivors sooner or later. The Governor certainly won’t be back (or will he?), but don't expect to meet the next villain just yet. We'll surely see more previews in the weeks to come, so check out the latest photos from 'The Walking Dead' 2014 premiere "After" below, and give us your predictions in the comments!
