The Tide Rolls into Iron Bowl Week

Iron Bowl week has officially arrived in Tuscaloosa. And it rolled in with a bang.The Crimson Tide kicked off last Saturday with a 49-0 shutout of Western Carolina. With that game secured, Bama fans turned their attention, and loyalty, over to Stanford and Baylor, hoping to recapture last season's lighting in a bottle. Well, lightning struck twice. Baylor knocked off #1 Kansas State and Stanford beat #2 Oregon. Bama moved to #2 in the BCS standings and back in control of their destiny.

Now its time for the Tigers to roll into town. Auburn is bringing with them a 3-8 record. The only notable feat left on their horizon, knock their arch rival out of the national title picture. Alabama and Auburn have split their last two contests, with trips to the BCS National Championship game following both victories. Alabama is now looking to repeat last season's glory. So bring on the Tigers and lets get down to business Saturday afternoon in Bryant Denny Stadium.
