I'm a big fan of the Amazing Race and it has become the highlight of my Sunday night. Yes, during the day on Sunday it does cross my mind and I get excited thinking, hey The Amazing Race is on tonight!

It came as a shock to me last week with the tease announcement at the end of the episode, 'next week on the 2 hour season finale.' What? Season finale, already? If you watch the show, you know, yes it is time for the finale just by looking at the number teams remaining.

Sunday night at 7 on CBS-TV 42, we will get to see who wins one million dollars and The Amazing Race! That is, if there isn't some sporting event earlier in the day which pushes back the start. If you watch CBS shows on Sunday or even better if you DVR Sunday shows on CBS, you know well about it. I've heard Kellie Rasberry of Kidd Kraddick in the Morning talk about it and how it annoys her. Ha! To me, not a big deal. Just record the next show too, that wife detective show featuring that lady from ER.

Those who don't know, The Amazing Race is what it sounds like a reality show with teams competing against each other with various set challenges around the world. There are check in points along the way and the team coming in last is eliminated from the race. It is standard for the show's producers to assemble a diverse set of teams. It's fun watching the challenges, seeing and learning about other countries.

The remaining teams competing are the Country singing girls Jennifer and Caroline, the hockey brothers Bates and Anthony, the roller derby moms Mona and Beth, and the newlywed Katie and Max. I'm thinking the newlyweds will the be ones to win it. What do you think? Comment below.
