The Perfect Wedding Reception at Wastewater Treatment Facitlity

Wedding receptions at the country club or hotel banquet halls is so yesterday.  Prepare yourself (and your nose) for the wastewater facility experience!

I'm not trying to be jokey the clown on this rainy Monday. Well, not entirely. This is true, the Brightwater Center, a wastewater treament facility in Washington, is advertising their space for your special events. When I say your special event, I mean the kind which don't call for one to bring reading material. Nope, a wedding reception kind of special event. Hey, the place brags about how state of the art it is on Facebook.

So, if someone cries out "this stinks," keep in mind, it is likely due to the odor and not your planning skills. Although, the place says you can't smell sewage. Oh, your invitation could feature "Mr. Hankey." You know, the Christmas poo character from the animated Comedy Central show, "South Park." Instead of the band performing "Love Shack," they could change the lyrics to the "Poop Palace." Oh yes, so many jokes, such little time.

So, why would anyone even begin to consider this location. The mighty dolla will make you holla on the savings to be had when you book the facility that has no shortage of fertilizer to keep the grass green.
