The New Football Season and ‘Briefcase Tacos’

As we huddle around the TV to soak in the return of a new football season, it also marks a new season of commercials geared towards making us laugh!

Have you seen the Old Spice commercial featuring a robot in a hot tub with attractive ladies at a ski resort? It opens with a wide shot, and you think it's a real dude. Then, a close up and the robot saying, "I know it’s nearly impossible to believe, but I’m not actually a real man. But I started using Old Spice deodorant and body wash together so I can finally real like a smell man." I'm thinking this okay. Then, the comedy train really gets rolling as the robot sitting in a hot tub starts to spark and malfunction, as it begins to twitch and blurt out random words. The ending payoff is pure greatness, as a flirting girl compliments the robot on his smell. The excited robot twitching from the electronic shorts from the water, looks at her and says, 'briefcase tacos.' The end.

I laughed so hard! You know I had to be impressed if I'm writing about it right now. I had to share this one! So, below is a copy of it. Take a look and let me know what you think. I'd love to know if find it as funny as me. I know that I've already heard someone questioning how the girls in the hot tub with the robot don't get electrocuted. That's part of the humor, as it is so ridiculous. As a guy, you begin to relate on how perfect the moment is for this robot guy with the ladies. But, it tragically goes up in smoke at the very worst time. Funny stuff.
