It is said that ignorance of the law is no excuse, a statement often made by someone who unknowingly breaks a law. Unfortunately, it's usually AFTER an event in which important knowledge is obtained. Such is the case when it comes to police training.
Every year in May, a ceremony takes place in front of the Tuscaloosa County Court House that honors Tuscaloosa area law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.
