Tabitha Is A Sweet Pit Bull That Needs A New Home

I know a lot of times pit bulls get a bad rap in the court of public opinion. What I've found is that pit bull dogs are actually not what many people think they are. According to Pet Finder, pit bulls do not have any special physical mechanism or enzyme that allows them to “lock” their jaws.

They also state that pit bulls aren't inherently vicious contrary to popular belief. If you're interested in loving and giving a pit bull a loving home, we've got the perfect dog for you. Every week we team up with the Humane Society of West Alabama to highlight a pet who is in search of a new home. This week's HSWA Pet of the Week is Tabitha.

Press Release

Tabitha is a 2-year old pit bull terrier mix who was found as a stray, but was never claimed at the local animal shelter. She is a very sweet and loving dog, but because she has been through a lot in her short life, she can be a little shy and hesitant at first. Once she knows you, she is an absolutely snuggle bug. Tabitha's dream home would be with someone who will shower her with the affection she deserves and be patient with her as she gets comfortable with the world.

Tabitha is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, heartworm negative, and microchipped. If you are looking for a cuddle buddy for the holidays and beyond, please call us at 205-554-0011 or email humaneswa@yahoo.com to set up an appointment to meet her.
