So You Think You Had A Bad Weekend?….Think Again!

It's finally 2017! Yet, before 2016 finished, she managed to claim 3 Final Casualties in her final weekend. So, if You think that you had a BAD WEEKEND, trust me, it's wasn't as bad as what these THREE Entities went through.....

1) Rhonda Rousey: Rhonda made her return to the octagon to fight Amanda Nunes in UFC 207 this past Friday Night. Rhonda was returning after suffering a devastating loss to Holly Holm back in November of 2015. This was billed as "The Great Comeback". Rhonda trained hard, looked in INCREDIBLE shape at the weigh-in, and appeared to be READY for battle. But then, the actual fight took place.....OUCH!

However, as bad as it was for Rhonda, she DID earn 3 MILLION DOLLARS for this fight. Not bad for 48 seconds of work.

2) Ohio State Buckeyes: The #2 Buckeyes faced The #3 Clemson Tigers in The Fiesta Bowl Saturday Night. They were CONFIDENT, They were representing The Big 10 Conference, They had Urban Meyer as their Head Coach, and they were already chanting "We Want Bama!" Problem is, they had to play ONE MORE football game to get to Alabama. They did, and it wasn't pretty..... 

The Good News for Ohio State is, next Monday Night they finally DO GET BAMA!....Yep. they GET to WATCH BAMA on their BIG SCREEN TV! :-)

And Finally, 3): Mariah Carey: Mariah was "performing" on Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve 2017. From the moment she came out, something was "off". She claims she had a bad monitor mix, TV officials say that her accusations are "silly". In any event, I say: WHY THE HELL DOES SHE HAVE TO HAVE A PRE-RECORDED TRACK OF A 20 YEAR-OLD SONG TO LIP SYNC TO???!!! After "performing" the song for 20 years, she should be able to sing it in her sleep right now! Personally, I think these days, she's too busy worried about dressing like an 18 Year-Old Hoochie than to be bothered by actually putting any effort into "performing" for her fans. The whole thing was TELEVISION GOLD! But for Mariah, THIS WAS BRUTAL!....

However, I do have to give Mariah "Props". At least she showed up to work! I mean, the show is called "Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve 2017", Yet,  where was HE? I don't think I ever saw him once during the whole program!!!

So,if you thought that YOU had a bad weekend, take solace in knowing that it could have been a LOT worse! Just ask Rhonda, The Buckeyes, & Mariah.....
