Sister Hazel dropped by the B101.7 studios to share stories, express what Tuscaloosa means to them and to give us a special live acoustic performance!

Ken Block, Andrew Copeland and Ryan Newell of Sister Hazel were in town to give a free show as the headliner of the inaugural Yellowhammer Festival at Tuscaloosa River Market. Ahead of that show, they carved out a little time to come visit us!

In a casual and fun conversation, we go behind the music on how the band was named after a missionary lady and how their breakthrough 'All For You' came about. Sister Hazel also opened up about the strong bond they have towards Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Also, should their new album be labeled country? Check out my full interview below!

We couldn't Ken, Andrew and Ryan of Sister Hazel leave the B101.7 studio without an acoustic performance! Ken chose the first song to be 'Karaoke Song,' a tune co-written by Darius Rucker.

The song that opened doors for Sister Hazel, their signature song, 'All For You' and the live acoustic performance by Sister Hazel is all greatness, from the fun and upbeat band!
