Severe Thunderstorms, Tornadoes Possible in Alabama Today

Severe thunderstorms are possible throughout the day in Alabama, some of which could bring damaging winds and isolated tornadoes. 

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has placed north Alabama in a "slight" risk area for storms today. Primary threats include damaging winds of up to 60 miles per hour, quarter size hail, and isolated tornadoes.
