Severe Thunderstorms Possible This Afternoon

Another afternoon of showers and thunderstorms is possible this afternoon, some of which could bring heavy rainfall and hail. 

The National Weather Service in Birmingham forecasts a chance for severe storms after 12 p.m. today through 8 p.m. tonight. Damaging winds of up to 60 miles an hour are possible as well as quarter-size hail.
