Welcome to another edition of Paradise Presses Play!

For those who don't know, one of my favorite types of game are racing games. There's just something about going fast and adjusting on the fly that is super fun to me. And that's why this week's selection is racing that took the world by storm 10 years ago, and was remastered and sent back out onto the roads.

This week's choice is Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered!

There isn't much a story in Hot Pursuit, it just racing with expense cars and hitting the nitro when you're ready to really take it up a notch. With various vehicles from multiple manufacturers the roads are about to become a lot more loud anywhere.

But racing isn't the only thing you can do in the city, you can flip the script and become part of the law stopping illegal street races in the city. Seacrest County, the land of fiction made up for NFS, isn't simply a lawless place. The police will try to stop any races happening, and if you're racing, get to ready to try and finish 1st under heavy pressure.

As you go deeper and deeper into the career mode, both racers and police gain new weapons to try and stop each other. For example, police can call in blockades or deploy spike strips. It's a game of going fast and thinking fast, which means you'll have to be at your best.

With online available as well, you won't have to drive the streets alone. NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered is available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch.

Happy racing!
