A man wearing his underwear--and only his underwear--caused quite the commotion on McFarland Boulevard in Northport Thursday morning.

"I received multiple calls about a man running around in just his underwear up by McDonald's and Wendy's off McFarland Boulevard in Northport this morning," said Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Traffic Reporter Ray Allen.

Allen says he reached out to Northport Police Chief Keith Carpenter for additional information.


No additional details are available at this time, although it is interesting to note this is West Alabama's second "naked man" call in a single morning.

Units from the Tuscaloosa Police Department were called to the site of the former Books-a-Million at the old McFarland Mall after receiving reports of a partially clothed prowler.
