Netflix ‘Gilmore Girls’ Revival Returns to Stars Hollow in First Photos
It seems like only yesterday, that Netflix announced an end to the drug-induced haze that followed all our collective anguish at Gilmore Girls’ final season, in staging a long-awaited revival. Now, we’re already back in Stars Hollow, as the first official photos of new Gilmore Girls have arrived.
Entertainment Weekly caught the first official photos of Netflix’s four-part revival, which doesn’t yet have a premiere in mind, but remains shooting until May 10 (according to creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, who notes that Melissa McCarthy has as long to agree to a brief return). In any case, all the old favorites are there, from iced coffee, to Luke, Stars Hollow, and what looks to be Rory’s new teaching career.
Heavy into production, Gilmore Girls has confirmed to return Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Jared Padalecki, Milo Ventimiglia, Matt Czuchry, Liza Weil, Yanic Truesdale, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Sean Gunn, and Keiko Agena, among others. Original producers Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino will once again be at the helm, having left the final year in a dispute with Warner Bros.
Netflix has yet to confirm either a title, or the four-part seasonal structure aligning each 90-minute episode, but what other Gilmore Girls favorites might return in the next round of photos?
