The Walking Dead on AMC is one of the most popular TV Shows EVER; with an estimated 10.5 Million Viewers weekly, it's "Can't Miss" TV for its loyal followers. Every Sunday Night, my Facebook News Feed is flooded with people who are glued to their Television Sets offering running commentary of the evening's episode. And Monday Morning, folks gather around their water coolers to discuss the "kills" of the previous evening. Problem is: I don't know what all these people are talking about because: I HAVE NEVER WATCHED AN EPISODE OF THE WALKING DEAD

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's a Great Show, but I have no desire to watch it. Trust me, I know what it's like to get into a TV Series. When they aired, I NEVER missed an episode of Prison Break on Fox or Desperate Housewives on ABC. (Yeah, go ahead and take away my Man Card right now-- but I LOVED Desperate Housewives!) But the fact of the matter is, I'm a cheapskate, and outside of The MLB Network, (so I can watch all of my Chicago Cubs Games), I get Basic Service on my Direct TV. Therefore, NO Walking Dead for me. Even crazier yet, I've never seen an episode of Dexter, Breaking Bad, or Game Of Thrones either.

So, if you're a fan of The Walking Dead, I'm happy that you enjoy the show. However, if you walk up to me on the street, and start asking me about The Walking Dead, don't be surprised if I stare at you like a ZOMBIE! :-)
