My Hose Gun Demonstration at Work Turned into an Epic Fail

The idea was to show off the loaded features of a new garden hose gun and pretend to have issues with that demo, as people left work. What happened was an epic fail.

Let me back up. Recently, I decided to visit the closing Kmart in Northport, and take a look around the 'Going Out of Business' sale. I ended up in the garden section. Not really much in there, pretty picked over. Then, I saw this hose gun. A sturdy gun with all kinds of setting features. This looked like a pretty cool garden tool and at 40% off. I'm in! I saved $1.25. Bargain hunter over here, look out. I've watched enough 'American Pickers' to know a deal. Not that show has anything to do with modern garden tools, and more about being a thrifty shopper. You get the point.

So, I thought I would have fun with a blog about the massive bargain hunt at the closing store to find this one small item. Someone at the station suggested, make a video using it. That sparked the idea of doing a demo. A cheesy demo that turns into a prank. It was all planned out, be outside at 5pm as the building clears out in a hurry. Then, have confusion break out using the gun. as the demo goes awry. The reactions would have been priceless! Well, that idea went up in flames fast when I couldn't get the old hose gun off the old station hose.

I didn't realize the recording had started, as I get so frustrated. You can see me banging the gun on the patio table trying to loosing it up. I still squeeze in a surprise water spraying to someone coming out the door. See the clip below.
