As another work week comes to a close and we welcome another glorious weekend, let's not forget the brilliant stuff that happened this week!

Okay, so my first thing actually happened last week but I cannot stop listening to the new track from Gorillaz! Humility is the first release from their album The Now Now out on June 29th. Here's the video which I think makes the song even better!

I think the fact that our friend and Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox won the democratic nomination for Alabama Governor is really cool and needs to be on this list. First Doug Jones and now Maddox... I love how Alabama voters are shaking things up! Maddox said, "To the people of Alabama, I believe I am that leader,"

The debut full-length from Snail Mail has officially arrived! Snail Mail is the brain child of Lindsey Jordan who released an EP entitled Habit in 2016 and luckily caught the attention of Matador Records who promptly signed her. I've been listening as her label strategically released two of the tracks from Lush over the past few weeks and have found myself a fan! This morning while getting ready and on my drive to work I've had a chance to listen to the whole thing and remain amazed! Check out the video below for an idea of what to expect.

Lastly, again, the Gorillaz have released another track from The Now Now titled Sorcererz and it's sick! Check out the lyric video...

Have a great weekend and let's hope next week is even better!
