A Tuscaloosa teenager reported missing four days ago showed up to school Monday morning and is safe and well, police said on social media.

The child, Rochelle Denae Dearman, was reported missing by her father last Thursday and had not been seen at school or at home. She was back in class Monday morning, though, and officers with the Tuscaloosa Police Department responded to check on her welfare.

Lt. Teena Richardson, a police spokeswoman, said Dearman was in good condition and officers released her back into her father's care.

Thanks to all who shared Dearman's picture and information this weekend.
