It's time to grab a mug of cocoa and cozy up with some of the greatest holiday films of all time. I'll spotlight one of my favorites each day until we reach #1.

Another classic makes its way onto my list of Christmas faves. I honestly can't get enough of this charming movie--nothing quite like watching it with my Nana at her house on Christmas Eve. I remember a few years ago--we had time to watch the entire movie together the night before all our relatives arrived from out of town. Being one of many grandkids, having that time with Nana and PawPaw all to myself was something really special.

White Christmas is a movie musical starring Bing Crosby, Bing Crosby's smooth-as-buttah voice, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, Rosemary Clooney's nauseatingly gorgeous face, and Vera Ellen. The musical follows an unlikely pairing of two dynamic duos--Crosby and Kaye, Clooney and Ellen-- as they prepare for a holday-themed show at Columbia, Vermont's Pine Tree Inn.

Favorite moments in White Christmas: Christmas Eve 1944, Bob's face the first time he sees Betty, Emma the housekeeper, Clooney's bringing down the house with "Love, You Didn't Do Right By Me," the General's entrance into the lodge, the best rendition of "White Christmas" of all time.

You might think that as an "older" film, White Christmas is boring. I can assure you it's not. It's bright, funny, and light-hearted--everything the holidays should be. Also, I die a little every time I see how awesome Rosemary Clooney's wardrobe is in this movie. Do yourself a favor and watch White Christmas this year.

Next up on the countdown: the merriest Christmas since Bing Crosby tapdanced with Danny Kaye...
