Man Charged with Murder for Monday Morning Shooting
A 43-year-old man has been charged with the Monday morning murder of Quinton Benson, investigators confirmed early Thursday morning.
Lt. Jack Kennedy, the assistant commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, said after processing the scene of the killing on 25th Street and interviewing witnesses, investigators found evidence to charge 43-year-old Kennetha Lee Anderson with murder.
Anderson is accused of shooting and killing Benson around 2 a.m. Monday morning.
He was booked in the Tuscaloosa County Jail after late Wednesday night. No bond was listed for the murder charge.
