She has a nursery full of toys--like an excessive amount of toys, a shameful amount of toys. (I enjoy spoiling my baby, ok?) Out of this myriad of balls and books and rattles and dolls and things that light up and play music, what does she choose? A BOX. A dang cardboard box.

I guess the best things in life are free. Technically, this box wasn't FREE, as it came loaded down with a Bojangles' combo meal, but... still. I sat her inside the box, and she giggled and squealed for half an hour. She LOVED it.

I am learning that kids are like that--buy them a present, and they'll spend more time playing with the wrapping paper instead of the expensive toy inside. I love watching her play, seeing her imagination at work.

It's crazy how a free box turned into a priceless memory.
