Last week's coverage of the Boston Marathon Bombing was simply intense with constant breaking developments. 'Breaking' was simply the most common word to be seen throughout from TV to social media sites. 'Exclusive' was another coveted word to use in the news delivery.

In a pursuit to be first to deliver a story can bring substantial risk when only relying on one anonymous source. Such was the case when CNN broke with word about a bombing suspect as arrested when there wasn't any arrests at that point in connection to the bombing investigation. A major gaffe for the network claiming to be the most trusted name in news. But, others wound up following their lead to report something which wasn't true at the time.

However, the prize for the worst coverage must go to the New York Post for featuring two random guys as the suspects. A photo of these two guys splashed on the cover of the paper for the world to see. The only problem, those two guys were not the Boston bombing suspects.

John Stewart returned to the Daily Show to review coverage in Boston using his brand of comedy to poke fun at CNN.
