A threatening message sent a Tuscaloosa hospital into a state of lockdown on Saturday, and police are searching for any threat to the public.

Stephanie Taylor, a spokesperson for the Tuscaloosa Police Department, told the Thread they've been at DCH for more than an hour.

"TPD has multiple officers conducting a security check at DCH Regional Medical Center following a threat that was made to the facility," Taylor said. "The threat was made through a messaging app and reported to TPD at 2 p.m."
