A recent fire in West Alabama resulted in multiple fire departments responding and a few retired firefighters on the response call as well.

According to a Facebook post by Coaling Fire Protection District, a fire near Coaling Methodist on Perry Foster Rd required the help of more than two fire departments.

The post states that the Vance Fire, City of Vance, Brookwood Fire & Tuscaloosa Fire departments all responded to the fire a few days ago.

According to comments under the post, the fire involved the home of an older couple who was said to be ok after the fire.
