After hearing this unfortunate news, it seems like accidents should be a lot higher on the list.

According to Alabama Now, an Alabama man was tragically killed when he became entrapped in production machinery at an industrial facility.

The man has been identified as 52-year-old Cederic Lamar Garner, 52, of Birmingham.

Unfortunately, Garner died at UAB Hospital shortly after he was taken there.

Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Bill Yates said Garner was an employee at ACIPCO in the 2700 block of 16th Street North.

Garner was severely injured in an industrial accident when he became entrapped in a piece of machinery at ACIPCO, Yates said.

Not long ago, a man was killed in an industrial accident at a facility in Moundville.

As reported by the Tuscaloosa Thread, The victim, Cornell James, was working with others to move a large shipping container when it fell from an overhead crane and fatally injured him.
