Terrion Arnold Finds NFL Home
Alabama's cornerback duo was arguably the best in college football last season. Terrion Arnold and Kool-Aid McKinstry were a lockdown duo in college football for the Crimson Tide.
McKinstry was a known commodity on Alabama's roster, but Arnold quickly rose when given his opportunity with the Tide. Now, he gets to live out his dreams of playing in the NFL.
With the No. 24 overall pick in the 2024 NFL, the Detroit Lions select Alabama cornerback Terrion Arnold after trading with the Dallas Cowboys.
Arnold, listed at six foot and 196 pounds, was injected into Alabama's starting lineup after the Texas game in Austin in 2022. He was then benched for Eli Ricks but returned to the lineup against Ole Miss due to injury. In 2023, Arnold never let go of his starting spot, tallying 63 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, five picks, one forced fumble, and 12 pass breakups according to Alabama's website.
Now, he'll join Brian Branch in the Lions defensive backfield, and Jahmyr Gibbs and Jameson Williams from Alabama in the Motor City.
