In honor of today marking 83 days until the Crimson Tide takes the field, we will profile former Alabama wide receiver Kevin Norwood.

Norwood played at the Capstone from 2009-13, recording 81 receptions for 1,275 yards and 12 touchdowns.

The three-time national champion was drafted as the No. 123 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks, where he spent his rookie season.

Other stops he made during his professional career include the Carolina Panthers (2015), San Diego Chargers (2016), and New York Giants (2016-17).

He saw time in ten NFL games, recording nine receptions for 102 yards.

The Miss., native spent last season as an analyst for the Ole Miss Rebels.

Norwood was a former four-star recruit from the class of 2009. He ranked No. 230 nationally, No. 30 in wide receivers, and No. 7 in the state of Miss., according to 247Sports Composite. He came to Tuscaloosa in the same class as Trent Richardson, Dre Kirkpatrick, and AJ McCarron.
