JC Latham (OL) represented the Tide offense on the first team while Justin Eboigbe (DL), Dallas Turner (LB), Terrion Arnold (DB), Kool-Aid McKinstry (DB) and Caleb Downs (DB) were all selected to the first-team defensive unit. Other first teamers are specialists Will Reichard (PK) and Kneeland Hibbett (Long Snapper).

Downs has had a freshman year similar to the former Tide star he is most compared to, current NFL starter Minkah Fitzpatrick.

Hibbett, a member of the family that owns the well-known sporting goods chain, is not often mentioned, which for a long-snapper means he's doing his job well and the coaches recognized that fact when casting their votes.

It's fair to say Reichard is the best place kicker to ever wear the Crimson jersey, and there have been some great ones.

The second-team selections included Tyler Booker (OL) on offense along with James Burnip (P) and double honoree Reichard (Kickoff Specialist) as part of the special teams group.
