Alabama's Nate Oats signed a contract extension ahead of the Crimson Tide's SEC Tournament game against the Florida Gators. While the game did not go the way Alabama wanted, a strong season that led to a four-seed in the NCAA Tournament led to the Crimson Tide coaches getting more money.

Alabama assistant Austin Claunch signed with the UTSA Roadrunners to become their head coach, while Ryan Pannone and Preston Murphy signed new deals with Alabama.

Preston Murphy's contract will run from May 2024 to April 2026, and he'll make $450,000 per year. Murphy also has a bonus for Alabama winning the SEC regular season or tournament, and Alabama making the Sweet 16 or higher in the NCAA Tournament.

Ryan Pannone's contract will run from May 2024 to April 2026, and he'll make $360,000 per year. Pannone has the same bonuses from Alabama for winning the SEC regular season championship or SEC tournament, and Alabama making the Sweet 16 or higher.
