Is Jay Leno retiring from NBC's Tonight Show? That's the rumor according to the Hollywood Reporter. The entertainment site says NBC denies the report, but, they also claim to have high level sources who claim the retirement idea is being kicked around for a May 2013 annoucement and make way for Jimmy Fallon to take over during the Summer of 2014.

All of this is not shocking to me. After Leno retired the first time and Conan moved in briefly, only to be pushed out for Leno after his prime time show bombed. Pushing Conan out didn't do Jay Leno's image and popularity and favors.

Besides, look at who goes viral online with videos time and time again, that would be Jimmy Fallon, not Jay Leno. Who has the credit card commercial with the baby who hates cash back, Jimmy Fallon. People love that commercial, even though it has run its course, just like the baby in the stock trading commercial. Absolute hystercial to begin with, but gets old over time.

In all, who has a youthful, fresh and funny approach to late night, yep, Jimmy Fallon. Yah, it's his time to move up to 10:35 p.m. time slot against the other show making waves and coincidentally the other late night talk show Jimmy, I'm talking about Jimmy Kimmel.

Gotta love a guy who puts on a wig and "Mom" dances with the First Lady, Michelle Obama

I'm a big Will Ferrel fan and this cameo on Jimmy Kimmel's show is an instant classic
