One of my best friends sent me a text yesterday with the link to an article she encouraged me to read when I was ready for a good laugh.

Marsha undersold the story BIG time. I laughed so hard that my eyes are puffy this morning. At one point, while reading and enjoying my late afternoon coffee, I encountered unexpected hilarity. I was just sitting on the couch, jerking with silent laughter, and spilled most of my coffee in my lap. Like more than four tablespoons.

The absolute nonsense began with this tweet:

We've all been there; clueless to what motivated your embarrassing response to whatever moment you find yourself desperate to forget.

The Bloggess' twitter feed began to fill up with hilarious and cringe-worthy confessions that made me wonder how the person could possible recover from it.

I've had my own. Actually got into the wrong car, tried to use a machine at the gym...backwards, used the word 'litigenous' instead of 'litigious' during a conversation with an attorney, ordered and paid for my food before driving right past the window before the drive-through worker appears in my rear view window, holding my bag in confusion.

It seems like there's not a whole lot to laugh at these days so enjoy the pain that comes from laughing at these. You might even find you're able to forgive yourself for your own embarrassing moments.
