So, Today I ate lunch at a place I like to frequent, The Subway on Greensboro Avenue, (Across from the old Locklear's Dodge Dealership). The people there are nice, they make my sandwiches the way I like them, and they expedite their orders quickly, and with courtesy. My problem isn't with them, it's with the young woman who felt she could park in the middle of the parking lot, without regard to the other people there, while completely ignoring the designated parking spaces that everyone else parked their vehicles in. She was above all that, because she was SPECIAL. Never mind the fact that she actually blocked TWO prime parking spaces in front, due to her lack of being considerate to others. The silver car in the picture above is hers. Apparently she flunked the drivers-ed portion of parking, or maybe she ditched school that day? Who knows? All I know is that her parking skills leave a lot to be desired.

But here's where it gets interesting, The black car in the picture is a Male Friend of hers. I could tell that they knew each other, because of the way they embraced when they first saw each other. Then, they gazed at each other for a few seconds, before romantically entangling is a Lifetime Movie Network-Style, Passionate KISS! All this happening, while I was trying to enjoy my Sweet Onion Chicken-Teriyaki Sandwich! Now, I thought that my sandwich was a little "spicy", but not nearly as Spicy as Romeo & Juliet making out in the parking lot! Apparently, they were so caught up in the throes of passion, that they couldn't spare an extra 10 seconds to park their cars in the proper parking spaces. Love was in the air, and it was time to get BUSY, Baby!

In any event, they wound up leaving after about 5 minutes. I'm assuming they went somewhere a bit more secluded, but the fact that she blocked TWO prime parking spaces, (by not parking properly), showed that she could care less about anyone else, her NEEDS came before anyone else's!

Therefore, if there's a lesson to be learned from Today, it is THIS: Please, follow the rules like everyone else, and park your car in a DESIGNATED parking space, and we're good. And if you need to be alone with someone, GO GET A ROOM! AND let me enjoy my Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich in peace!
