I Am Going to Buy Gas for FIFTY CENTS A GALLON Today

You read that headline right: Fifty. Cents. A. Gallon. Want to know I made it happen?

I told y'all the other day that I'm doing my best ballin' on a budget these days. Part of my savings obsession is the accumulation of Winn-Dixie Fuel Perks. I hoard them all month long until I have the highest amount possible, and on the last day of the month I fill up the massive tank of our Jeep Commander on the cheap-cheap.

I noticed that gas was $3.15 on my way to work this morning. We subtract my Fuel Perks per-gallon discount of $2.65 and BAM: I am getting gas for 50 cents a gallon! FIFTY CENTS. That's like 1970's prices, y'all.

It feels so good to sit back and enjoy my savings. If you see a woman crying while fueling a Jeep this evening, it's me.
