Honey Boo Boo Facebook Cookie Sales Shut Down

It looked like Honey Boo Boo found the perfect way to sell Girl Scout cookies. Alana Thompson, the real name of the little 7 year-old TLC reality star, pitched cookie sales to her 700,000+ fans on Facebook. And, to really seal the deal, offer autographs in return for buying cookies from her. The offer posted, "all boxes r autographed by the family & includes autograph family pic :)"

As you would imagine, having that many fans, there would be a massive amount of orders.

According to TMZ.com, Georgia Girls Scouts reps say they contacted her site's administrator and explained online selling is off-limits, because it defeats the whole purpose of selling the cookies -- to teach girls all sorts of things, including goal setting, people skills, etc. It is also reported, Honey Boo Boo will still be able to receive credit for the sales she made online.
