Generous Listener Support Makes 2015 Kidd’s Kids Trip Possible

Massive amounts of listener donations are being added up, and it looks like enough money was raised to make the Kidd's Kids Trip possible in November!

We're happy to share the good news, and the special trip being planned for children with chronic or terminal illness/disease. 50 kids and their families are about to create the most amazing and cherished memories. It's a trip these cash strapped families would never be able to afford on their own. As for the children, a FUN escape from the reality of fighting cancer, cystic fibrosis, heart problems, sickle cell, or other illnesses.

Kidd's Kids Day is the one day set aside to share the stories from the families, to put faces to the cause and to ask Kidd Nation to help out. As the late Kidd Kraddick referred to the day, a healthy tax for parents blessed to have healthy children.

Donations have coming in through the Kidd Kids website, the special Southwest Air donation phone line, texting, and drop-off locations. The B101.7 staff spread out around town to collect at Chick-fil-A Northport, Chick-fil-A Midtown, and Chick-fil-A Tuscaloosa South. We appreciate everyone coming by to donate, no amount was too small. The support was heartwarming!

Let's get to the totals, the Tuscaloosa/Northport drop-off donations came in over $500 and the overall donation total over $480,000! Simply amazing! Thank you.
