Weather Update for Tuesday, October 29, 2019

The National Weather Service has a Dense Fog Advisory in place until 9 a.m. affecting many counties in our listening areas.  Dense Fog creates hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.  Please be careful while driving through these conditions since visibility will be significantly reduced.

Today, there will be mostly cloudy conditions with a high near 73.  Tonight, the low will be near 63 with a 50% chance of showers.  These showers should start in the overnight hours.  The rain will begin in South Alabama, and then Wednesday and Thursday will become more widespread across Alabama.  At this time, the rainfall for Wednesday should not include any severe weather except an elevated risk in northeast Alabama.

Looking ahead to the weekend, we should have sunshine during the day with cool temperatures.  The nights will have cold temperatures and clear conditions.

Have a great Tuesday!  Be sure to follow me on Instagram at @MaryKRadio
