COVID-19 Case Confirmed in the Tuscaloosa County District Attorney’s Office
An employee at the Tuscaloosa County District Attorney's Office has tested positive for COVID-19.
District Attorney Hays Webb told FOX 6 WBRC News that an employee at his office presented with a slight fever and other symptoms last week. The employee was instructed to stay at home and obtain testing for the novel Coronavirus, and the DA's office was informed last (Sunday, March 29th) night that the employee had tested positive.
The Tuscaloosa County Probate Judge, trial judges, and other courthouse employees were informed of the situation, and anyone with direct contact with the employee obtained testing today. Those who obtained testing are now self-quarantining for the next 14 days.
