Chick-fil-A On McFarland Is Temporarily Closed
It just hasn't been a good week for me restaurant-wise. Yesterday, while I was craving a Gyros, I went to TUT'S on the strip only to find out that it had closed. In case you missed that story, you can read it HERE
Well, today, after I stopped at Midtown to spend some money, (that I really don't have), I was in the mood for a Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich and some Waffle Fries. So, I decided to head over there, and order the combo. However, when I got there, I was greeted with THIS Sign....
Unbelievable! This makes TWO days in a row that I've been CRAVING something, only to drive to the restaurant and find out that they weren't open. However, in Chick-fil-A's case, it's simply a remodel. In fact, after going on their Facebook Page to get more information, I saw their Official Announcement, which said, "We are now closed for a remodel!! Everyone stay tuned for more updates on the exciting progress!" Also added was THIS statement, "It's our plan to have a re-grand opening March 27th".
Now, I'm not a Contractor or Construction Expert, but if they plan on being open in FOUR days, they still have a LOT of work to do. I expect then to be re-opened maybe on Wednesday or Thursday of next week. Hopefully, I'll be proven wrong.
The GOOD News is, there's another Chick-fil-A located across the street, inside of University Mall. So, I just went over there and got myself a DELICIOUS Chicken Sandwich & Waffle Fries. And of course, while I was in University Mall, I spent MORE money, (that I really don't have). :-)
And speaking of University Mall, did you know about The Mall's Crazy Hollywood Past? Well in case you missed it, you can read about it HERE
Bon Appetit!
