I'm always up for trying new things. So, the other day at the store I see Lay's 'Cheesy Garlic Bread' flavored potato chips. Interesting. Earlier in the year, the chip maker held a new flavor contest showcasing a grand prize of $1 Million Dollars! This is the flavor that won. It has to be good, right? I like cheese garlic bread and as a chip it should be good. Why not? I bought a bag.

The next day for lunch, I open up the bag and do the 'sniff test.' Whoa, look out garlic is coming to town! I then try one. Whoa, it's a party and only garlic is invited. It liners too. I've been warning people, don't to come to close! Warning, my breath may make your face melt.

So, I don't really care for them, yet I keep packing a Ziploc bag of them each day for lunch. My thinking, I don't want to waste the money spent. Does that make me cheap?

The new garlic sensation wasn't the only chip Lay's rolled out into the spotlight. The runner-ups were Lay’s Sariachi and Lay’s Chicken & Waffles. I'm not exactly watering at the mouth for either of those. At least they sound better than some of the winners of this contest from other countries. Yah, some of these flavors sound okay, while others a cruel joke. Like, Mastana Mango, Walkie Talkie Chicken, Caesar Salad, Chili & Chocolate, Late Night Kebob and Cajun Squirrel. Do you want a bag of any of those chips?
