BREAKING: Four-Star Offensive Tackle Commits to Crimson Tide
Miles McVay, four-star offensive tackle out of St. Louis, MO, announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide on Thursday. McVay is the 19th commitment in Alabama's first ranked 2023 class.
He joins Wilkin Formby, Olaus Alinen and Ryqueeze McElderry as the fourth offensive lineman to commit to the Tide in the 2023 cycle.
Standing at 6-foot-6, 358 lbs., McVay features excellent size, and combines it with above average athleticism. He has played both guard and tackle in high school, but most recently suited up as a book end, helping guide his team to an appearance in the 2021 State Championship game.
247Sports' Allen Trieu says, "[McVay] plays with a sturdy base and has the natural power and strength to where he is tough to bull-rush, but he is also skilled enough as a pass protector to handle speed rushers."
After getting off to a somewhat slow start in the 2023 cycle, Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide have dominated the recruiting trail over the last month, adding several four and five-star prospects to the class.
