Alabama men's basketball season gets underway in eight days and there is already a lot of excitement for the 2020 season. While Nate Oats and his coaching staff have been preparing for the start of the season, they have also been hitting the recruiting trail. Alabama signed three players already in the early signing period, good enough for the No. 10 class so far according to Rivals and No. 14 according to 247Sports.

The Crimson Tide signed freshman in-state point guard JD Davison, JUCO forward Langston Wilson and freshman forward Jusaun Holt all in the last three weeks as official members of the 2021 class.

Davison is a 5-star point guard from Letohatchee, Alabama out of Calhoun High School. 247Sports ranks him the No. 9 player in the nation and the No. 1 point guard. He becomes the first 5-star prospect signed by Coach Oats and is the highest rated prospect to come out of Alabama since NBA All-Star Demarcus Cousins.

Wilson is a 4-star JUCO forward out of Georgia Highlands College. He is rated the No. 2 player in JUCO and the No. 1 power forward by 247Sports in the 2021 class. Wilson is still developing his skills as he was unable to play basketball in high school due to a medical condition. He averaged 10 points and seven rebounds as a freshman last season.

Holt is a 4-star shooting guard from Roswell, Georgia from St. Francis Day School. He is considered the No. 8 player in the state of Georgia by 247 Sports and he helped his school win back-to-back state championships. Oats has commented that he sees Holt as a natural replacement for John Petty after the current season concludes.
